Haley repeats as NAC Rookie of the Week after setting season highs in pair of games

NAC Weekly Release

North Adams, MA—MCLA's Nathan Haley was selected as the NAC Rookie of the Week, his second straight honor, following a pair of impressive performances.  Haley amassed season highs in both games last week scoring eight goals in contests against NVU-Lyndon and Thomas.  Maine Maritime's Zeke Tocci was tabbed the player of the week while the conference awarded a pair of defensive honors.  Those went to SUNY Canton's Noel Abreu and Maine Maritime's Jed Astbury.

Haley finished his season on a strong note.  He started the week with an eight goal performance in a 19-4 win over Lyndon.  He would end the week repeating that performance against the Terriers.  The eight goals were season highs for Haley who ranks among the NAC elite in scoring.

He chipped in with two assists and nine groundballs on the week for the Trailblazers.

Haley's performances helped lift the Trailblazers to a pair of wins to close out their first full season in program history.
