Haley and Dock earn NAC All-Conference honors

NAC 2023 MLAX All-Conference Release

NORTH ADAMS, Mass.—MCLA Men's Lacrosse sophomores Nathan Haley (North Adams, MA) and Boden Dock (Norway, ME) have been named to the 2023 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) All-Conference teams.

Haley, the 2022 NAC Rookie of the Year, earned All-Conference First-Team honors scoring 42 goals while dishing out ten assists this season. He also became the first player in MCLA program history to eclipse the 100-career point mark in a 17-8 victory for the Trailblazers at Wells College this past April.

Dock was selected to the All-Conference Second Team as he led MCLA in scoring with a program record 49 goals, which was 4th best in the NAC, and five assists. He scored a career-high 7 seven goals twice this season in wins against Mitchell College and NVU-Lyndon.

Maine Maritime's Jayden Wilson walked away with Player of the Year honors while SUNY Delhi's Sean Dalton and Jaggar Beachak were selected as Defensive Player and Rookie of the Year. Husson's Mike O'Neill and SUNY Cobleskill's Greg Valachovic were chosen as Co-Coaches of the Year and SUNY Cobleskill's Kerry Blackwood was selected as the Senior Scholar Athlete.

In addition to the top conference awards, 30 student-athletes were named to the All-Conference teams, and nine were named to the NAC Men's Lacrosse Sportsmanship Team. The Sportsmanship Team is reserved for those who distinguish themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees have positively affected the sport's culture and game environment by clearly demonstrating sportsmanship and integrity beyond playing rules and etiquette.

Trailblazer Matthew Wallace was chosen as MCLA's representative on the Sportsmanship Team.
