Bio

Matt will be entering his first season as the goalkeeping coach at MCLA in 2015. As a former player he played four years within the Men’s Soccer program.

He was a two year starter with 13 wins and posted 7 shutouts. Towards the end of his junior year Matt suffered from a shattered kidney in a Spring training match. He was able fully recover for his senior season and was named team captain. In addition to being named team captain he was named a Ronald Shewcraft award winner, which goes to a men’s soccer player who displays consistency, leadership and passion exemplified by Coach Shewcraft.

Matt is also a graduate of Mahar Regional High School. While at Mahar he was named to the All Western Mass team on two occasions. In addition he was team captain during both his Junior and Senior seasons.

Matt graduated from MCLA in 2014 with a Business degree with a concentration in marketing and sports management. Matt currently holds the NSCAA Level 1 Goalkeeping Diploma.
