Men's Tennis picks up first win for Lima in 5-4 win over Becker
Leicester, MA- The MCLA men's tennis team earned their first victory since their program revival as they defeated Becker College 5-4 this afternoon. It was the first match of the spring for MCLA, who also played two matches this past fall. MCLA improved to 1-2 on the season.
Daniel Nesti earned a pair of victories for the Trailblazers. He won in the number one singles slot, defeating Becker's Jake Gilbert 6-3, 6-2. He then teamed with Joe Whitehouse in the top doubles slot to defeat Tim Howard and Brandon Parkhouse 8-5.
Other Trailblazers earning singles points included Taylor Krowitz, Mitch Mabardy, and Brandon Peltier.
