Men's Tennis falls to Castleton 9-0 in NAC action
Castleton, VT- The Castleton State Spartans rolled past MCLA 9-0 this afternoon in NAC Men's Tennis action. With the win, the Spartans improve to 9-3 overall while the Trailblazers are still searching for their first win, dropping to 0-8.
Castleton dropped only a single game in doubles competition, cruising to 8-0 victories in the first and third doubles matches.
The singles matches were much of the same as Castleton swept #2, #3, and #4 singles in 6-0, 6-0 straight set victories. Trailblazer Taylor Krowitz put up a great fight in the opening set, eventually falling 7-6 in the frame before retiring.
The Trailblazers will next travel to Johnson State on Sunday afternoon as they continue their conference slate.
