Trailblazer Men's Tennis nets first win over Johnson State
Johnson, VT- The MCLA Men's Tennis team earned their first victory of the season as they defeated Johnson State college 8-1 this afternoon in NAC action. The win moves the Trailblazers to 1-8 overall while Johnson finishes its season at 0-10.
Five Trailblazers won singles matches led by Daniel Nesti's 6-0, 6-0 win in the top slot. Other winners included Taylor Krowitz, Amory Galili, Mitch Mabardy, and Ray Yelle. Yelle earned the tiebreaker in his win over Alex Pakatar in the fifth slot. All other singles matches were won in straight sets.
The Trailblazers breezed through the doubles round as well, highlighted by Krowitz and Galili earning an 8-0 win in the second doubles match.
