Quackenbush earns third MASCAC pitcher of the Week honor
MASCAC Pitcher of the Week release-
North Adams, MA- MCLA freshman hurler Rachel Quackenbush has been tabbed the MASCAC Softball pitcher of the week for the third time in four weeks following an impressive 5-0 week. Quackenbush helped lead MCLA to a 6-0 mark in league play for the week.
She went 5-0 on the week and tossed 33 innings while posting an impressive 0.42 ERA. Quackenbush threw both ends of a doubleheader in wins over Framingham to begin the week, before posting a win against Westfield State the following day. She would finish the week off in style combining to throw a no hitter against Mass Maritime. She struck out 51 hitters on the week, including 17 against MMA.
Quackenbush's efforts have helped the Trailblazers earn the second seed in the upcoming MASCAC playoffs. MCLA will host the winner of Worcester State and Framingham State on Friday afternoon at 3pm.
