Women’s Basketball Get Out Manned by Framingham State, 65-26

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – This evening, the MCLA Women's Basketball team faced the Framingham State Rams in a MASCAC matchup at the Amsler Campus Center. The Trailblazers fought a good fight but, in the end, were outmatched by the team in the second position in the MASCAC standings. Framingham State's Kelsey Yelle recorded a double-double as she led all scorers with 13 points while pulling down ten rebounds. Kristie Zator paced the Trailblazers with 10 points.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
- Framingham State played a smothering defense throughout the first half, holding the Trailblazers to only five points in both the first and second quarters while building up a 40-10 halftime lead. The Rams shot a blistering 50% from the field in the first quarter and were still shooting at 43% for the game at halftime. While the second half was slightly more balanced, Framingham State was able to rest their entire starting lineup in the fourth quarter.
- MCLA's Kristie Zator led the hosts with a team-high 10 points, marking the 14th time she has reached double digits this season, including 10 of her last 11 games. Zator also gathered up a team-high six rebounds.
- Sophomore guard Zaylee Ramos added nine points, including a three-for-four showing at the charity stripe.
- The Rams' Kelsey Yelle scored 13 points and pulled down ten rebounds to lead all players in both categories.
- Framingham State got offensive contributions from 12 players and had 14 players finish with at least one rebound.
