Three Women's Ice Hockey players earn All-ECHA honors

NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— Junior forward Alexandrea Bednar (Vita, MB / University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire) has been named to the ECHA All-Conference Second Team, while first-year forward Rebekah Ade (Yucca Valley, CA / New Jersey Colonials) and defenseman Natasha Lozowchuk (Canmore, AB / Athol Murray College of Notre Dame) have been named to ECHA All-Rookie Team.

Worcester State's Katie Puumala was named the Player of the Year, while Anna Maria's Sam Dahill was named Goaltender of the Year. The Rookie of the Year honor went to Worcester State's Fiona Hatton. Worcester State's Eliza Kelley was named the Coach of the Year.

She scored her first collegiate goal in the Trailblazers' 3-1 victory over Rivier on February 18th, 2024.

Ade earned her ROW honor for the week ending December 10th after scoring a short-handed tally for the lone goal in MCLA's 1-0 shutout win over Lebanon Valley College. The first year from Yucca Valley, CA, was third on the Trailblazers with four goals and seven points and scored both of her team's short-handed goals, scoring the other on November 9, 2023, against Anna Maria College.

The All-ECHA First Team consisted of Anna Maria College's Jordyn Bleaney and Dahill, Rivier's Molly Dukesherer, and Worcester State's Puumala, Cassidhe Wozniak, and Lea Gaspar.
