Lacrosse drops Florida finale to Eastern Connecticut 15-4

Clermont, FL- The MCLA women's lacrosse team wrapped up play on their southern swing as they fell to Eastern Connecticut 15-4 in Clermont, FL.  The Trailblazers are now 0-2 on the season while the Warriors are 5-4.

The Warriors wasted little time taking control as they led 15-1 after a half of play.  They dominated the half outshooting the Trailblazers 26-2 in the opening stanza.  

MCLA did outscore the Warriors 3-0 in the closing half, however the outcome was already decided.

The Trailblazers received goals from Taylor Brewer, Natalie Caney, Mackenzie Cutler, and Tanelle Ciempa.

MCLA will open up their northern slate on Wednesday at home when they challenge Sage at Shewcraft Field.  The opening draw is set for 4pm.
