Granito named second team All MASCAC

2019 All MASCAC Women's Lacrosse

North Adams, MA- MCLA junior Kim Granito (Glenmont, NY) was named to the All MASCAC second team as the league has announced all award winners.  The honor is the first for Granito in a Trailblazers uniform.

Bridgewater State's Victoria McDonough has been tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Year.  Lauren Arbec of Worcester State was chosen as the conference's Defensive Player of the Year.  Her teammate Madison Brennan earned the Rookie of the Year honor while Framingham State's James Rippey was named Champions Choice Coach of the Year.

Granito led the Trailblazer offense all season long.  She set a school record for goals 42 and climbed over the 100 point plateau for the Trailblazers.  On eight different occasions, Granito scored at least four goals.

She started the year hot as she tallied 21 goals in MCLA's first four contests.  She notched a season best 7 points on two occasions.  She scored six goals and added an assist in a matchup with Sage before tallying five goals and two assists in a win over Bay Path.

She ended the season with 46 points, the highest total in the short history of MCLA Women's Lacrosse.
