HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Trailblazers made the most of a mental error by hosts when a pair of Buccaneers failed to control a free kick near midfield. Gwendolyn Duggan was in the right place at the right time to capitalize on the mistake and completed a pass to Kylie DeMaio, who tapped the ball forward to Cidnee Frymire. Frymire settled the ball, took a step, and then fired a shot from about 25 yards out that went off the keeper's hands to the crossbar and fell into the net.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Eva Eberwein made six saves but still saw her record on the season drop to 1-3-2. Eberwein has 22 saves in her last three games.
  • The goal was Frymire's third of the season and fourth of her career. The assist was DeMaio's second of the season.
  • The Buccaneers finished the game with an 18-3 edge in shots and an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal.
