Westfield, Mass.—Despite a career-high 14 saves for Eva Eberwein, the Trailblazers fell 3-0 at Westfield State.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Westfield State's Tia Tollis bookended the Owls' scores. The first came in the 14th minute and was assisted by Delaney Parker. Tollis' second goal, and the team's third, was in the 62nd minute and was again assisted by Parker.
  • A little over five minutes into the second half, Parker found the back of the net with an unassisted goal of her own.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

  • Trailblazers' sophomore goalie Eva Eberwein had a career-high 14 saves in the losing effort and saw her record for the year drop to 2-4-2. Her previous high of 12 came in a 2-2 tie on September 3rd at Anna Maria. This was her fourth game this season with ten or more saves.
  • Anna Lewis took the lone Trailblazers shot as the Owls had a 42-1 edge in shots.

On Tuesday, MCLA will be back in action when they travel to SUNY Delhi for a non-conference matchup with the Broncos at Neil Riddell Field. The teams will take the pitch for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
