BRIDGEWATER, Mass.—The MCLA Women's Soccer team closed out their season with a 3-0 loss at Bridgewater State this afternoon.

  • Bridgewater broke through for their first goal in the game's fourth minute off the foot of Stephanie Spear, with an assist credited to Sydney Dewhurst.
  • The Bears doubled their lead in the 18th minute when Jenna Sweeney scored her second of the year with assists going to Spear and Bailey Brown.
  • In the 76th minute, Bridgewater added on an insurance goal by Olivia Robarge, assisted by Sydney Dewhurst and Samantha Blanchard.
  • MCLA goalkeeper Eva Eberwein stopped 15 shots as the Bears outshot the Trailblazers 31-0.
