Amirian Selected as MASCAC Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— MCLA first-year goalkeeper Mallory Amirian (Haverhill, Mass.) has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week as announced by the league earlier today.
Amirian is joins Westfield State's Delany Parker (Orange, Mass.) who earned Offensive Player of the Week honors and Fitchburg State goalkeeper Madison Dawkins (Haverhill, Mass.) who was chosen as Defensive Player of the Week. Amirian earned her first career win and shutout stopping 14 shots in MCLA's 1-0 conference win over MASCAC rival Mass Maritime.
Amirian and the MCLA Women's Soccer team next hosts Westfield State this Friday at 6pm.
