Women’s Soccer Extend Undefeated Streak to Four Games

FITCHBURG, Mass. — The MCLA Women's Soccer team took to the road this afternoon for a conference matchup with the Fitchburg State Falcons at Elliot Field. The goalkeeper tandem of Destiny Alexandra Rivas and Mallory Amirian combined for ten saves to keep the MCLA sheet clean while Fitchburg's Madison Dawkins also held the Trailblazers' offense in check with four stops.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
- The MCLA defense spent a large portion of the game under pressure as the Falcons finished the game with a 28-5 edge in shots, including a 10-4 advantage in shots on net.
- The Fitchburg offense also stressed the visitors defense with a 13 to zero edge in corner kicks.
- Destiny Alexandra Rivas (Leicester, MA) and Mallory Amirian (Haverhill, MA) each stopped five shots while splitting duty in net for the Trailblazers. Rivas was the goalie of record and moved to 3-5-1.
- MCLA Allie Bayer (Boring, OR) led the team with a pair of shots, including one on net. The other shots on goal were credited to Lauren Kimball (Crown Point, NY), Gwendolyn Duggan (Palmer, MA), and Catelyn Hodge (Schenectady, NY).
