MCLA falls to Bay Path in tennis home opener

North Adams, MA- Visiting Bay Path earned a decisive 8-1 victory over MCLA in the Trailblazers' home opener this afternoon at Zavattaro athletics complex.  MCLA is now 0-2, while Bay Path moves to 3-1 overall.

Bay Path earned a pair of wins in doubles before sweeping the singles matches.  MCLA's Megan Holmes and Danielle Wiencek earned the lone point in the number two doubles slot winning 8-5 in the pro style set.

Holmes also battled hard in the singles match before falling 6-4, 6-4.

MCLA will travel to Western New England on Wednesday for a 3:30pm match.
