Tennis drops road tilt at Western New England 9-0
Springfield, MA- The MCLA Tennis Team fell to 0-3 as they dropped a 9-0 decision at Western New England Wednesday afternoon. WNE grabbed their first win to improve to 1-3 overall.
WNE's Linda Mustafa was a double winner at Nos. 1 singles and doubles (with Kelsey Grode). In addition, Valerie Conway won at both No. 2 singles and doubles, teaming with Alysha Lesieur who also was victorious at No. 3 singles.
MCLA recieved a solid performance from Megan Holmes and Danielle Wiencek in the second doubles slot before eventually falling 8-6. Sarah Murphy extended her match to a decisive third game in the top singles slot before falling to Mustafa.
