Volleyball swept in Southern Vermont Tri-Match

Bennington, VT-  The MCLA Volleyball team dropped a tri match this evening at Southern Vermont, falling to the hosts and Norwich by identical 3-0 scores.  With the setback, MCLA is now 0-3.

In the opener against Norwich, MCLA fell by scores of 25-13, 25-23, and 25-18.  Julia Christian led the Trailblazers with 12 kills.  Allie Chang and Brittany Kish each added five kills, while Kish notched 10 assists.   Courtney Parent finished with 14 assists in the setback.

In the nightcap against the host Mountaineers, MCLA dropped the match in three games by scores of 25-12, 25-7, and 25-14.   Kish continued her good play throughout the evening as she finished with 11 assists.  Kelley Bryant had 14 digs, while Abby Lucas ended the night with 10.

MCLA is off until next weekend when they travel to Keuka College for their invitational tournament.
