Trailblazers stay hot in 3-0 victory over Eagles

North Adams, MA- The MCLA Volleyball team got win number two on the day after they beat Green Mountain College Eagles in a 3-0 victory. The Trailblazers notch their third straight victory to improve to 3-7 on the season while the Eagles fall to 2-7.

For Green Mountain, Junior Jennifer Seredejko continued her impressive day with 47 assists. The first game was a back and forth battle that finished 25-19 in favor of the Trailblazers.

In game two, Sophomore Brittany Kish set her teammates up for a total of 4 assists. MCLA got on a little run when Kendra Hobbs served for 3 aces, and capped off the game 25-17.

Once again in game three, Hobbs served for another 5 aces, putting her total at 8 for the match. The Trailblazers got out to an early lead but the Eagles of Green Mountain went on a long run to bring them back to 20-19. Game three finished in favor of the Trailblazers with a score of 25-20.

For MCLA, Sophomore Allie Chang finished with a team high 5 kills on 12 attempts. Trailblazer libero Kelley Bryant finished the match 3 kills 4 aces and 11 digs.

The Trailblazer will look to continue their winning streak Tuesday night against Sage College in Amsler Gymnasium.
