Volleyball can't keep up with Sage in 3-0 setback

Troy, NY- The host Sage Gators got off to a strong start and never looked back as they defeated the MCLA Trailblazers 3-0 this evening at Neff Arena.  With the win the Gators improve to 5-13 while MCLA falls to 7-6 overall.

Sage easily disposed of the visitors by scores of 25-9, 25-14, and 25-14.  The Gators recieved strong performances from Mickey Mango (10 Kills) and Helen Putriment (9 Kills).  Joanie Cooney collected 30 assists in the win.

MCLA was led by Sam Anderson's five kills.  Rachel Mills, Darien Quick, and Allie Chang each ended the night with four apiece.  The Trailblazers were hurt by 18 attack errors on the night.

MCLA will look to right the ship on Saturday when they travel to Worcester State for the conference opener.
