Volleyball drops MASCAC opener at Worcester 3-0

Worcester, MA- The MCLA Volleyball opened up MASCAC play this afternoon dropping a 3-0 decision at the hands of Worcester State.  The Trailblazers even their record at 7-7 and are 0-1 in league play.  Worcester improves to 5-9 overall and remains perfect in MASCAC play at 2-0.

The Lancers battled the Trailblazers hard in the opening set eventually winning 25-23.  The hosts then breezed through set two, earning a 25-12 set win.  They closed out MCLA in three sets with a 25-20 win.

MCLA was led by Julia Christian's seven kills in 14 attempts.  Rachel Mills added six kills.  Kendra Hobbs chipped in with 12 digs and Courtney Parent added 10.

The Trailblazers will look to return to the win column this week when they travel to Framingham State on Wednesday.
