Trailblazers Survive Mariners
The MCLA Trailblazers survived a game Mitchell Mariners team in a non-conference volleyball match tonight in North Adams. MCLA won 3-1 winning games one and two 25-21 and 25-23, the Trailblazers dropped game three 25-23 and rebounded in game four 25-19.
MCLA was led by Sam Anderson, who compiled twelve kills on the evening. Tayler Wiese collected sixteen assists and Allie Chang had twenty-one digs. Rachel Mills also had ten digs.
Amanda Garcia amassed fifteen kills for the Mariners and Kaisea Caramante had a game-high thirty-five digs for Mitchell.
Mitchell drops to 4-11 on the season and will next play at Lesley College Saturday evening at 6:30pm. MCLA climbs over .500 at 9-8 and will travel to Buzzards Bay on Saturday to take on Mass. Maritime and Becker in a tri-match, beginning at 11:00am.
