Clark earns her second MASCAC player of the week honor

MASCAC Weekly Release

North Adams, MA- For the second time this season, MCLA's Allison Clark has been tabbed as the MASCAC Volleyball player of the week.  Clark has led the Trailblazers into first place with two games remaining on the conference slate.

Clark led the Trailblazers to a 4-0 week including sweeps of Framingham and Salem State.  The matchup with the Rams was for the top spot in the MASCAC.  In that contest, Clark tallied 11 kills and 17 digs as the Trailblazers knocked off the defending champions.  Against the Vikings on Saturday, she finished with 14 kills and 14 digs in the 3-0 victory.

In between conference matches, Clark was outstanding averaging 17.5 kills and 9 digs in the pair of Trailblazer wins.  For the season, she leads the conference with 332 kills and is second in hitting percentage.

Clark and the Trailblazers remain atop the conference standings unblemished at 4-0 with matchups with Worcester State and Bridgewater State remaining.  With a victory, the Trailblazers would earn the top slot in the upcoming MASCAC playoffs.

MCLA will travel to Worcester State on Thursday night, however the match will be played at Becker College.
