Moczulski collects Rookie honors for third straight week
North Adams, MA- For the third consecutive week, Kelly Moczulski (New River, AZ) has been selected as the MASCAC rookie of the week. Moczulski has been a force for the Trailblazers as they've rebounded from an 0-3 start. MCLA has won seven of its past eight games.
Westfield State's Brianna Starkey collected the conference player of the week honors.
Moczulski averaged 13.6 kills and 14 digs in 2-1 week for the Trailblazers. The talented first year player collected 15 kills and 12 digs in the 3-1 setback to Westfield State to start the week. She then added 15 kills and 16 digs in a 3-1 win over Farmingdale State College in the opening game of a tri match. She would end the week with 11 kills and 14 digs in the 3-0 win over SUNY-Delhi.
Moczulski is second in the conference, behind only Starkey, in Kills with 101 on the season. She also sits at 12th in the league in Digs.
Her Trailblazers will look to continue their winning ways tomorrow night when they head to New England College for a non league matchup.
