Moczulski collects seventh straight MASCAC rookie honors

North Adams, MA- For the seventh consecutive week, MCLA Volleyball's Kelly Moczulski has claimed the MASCAC rookie of the week honor.  Moczulski has won the award every week this season.  Brandee Thomas was tabbed as the conference's player of the week.

Moczulski averaged 7.3 kills, 10.6 digs and two service aces in a 2-1 week for the Trailblazers.

She started the week by collecting eight kills, eight digs, four aces and two block assists in the 3-2 setback to Framingham State.   Moczulski added six kills and 12 digs in the 3-0 win over Salem State and ended the week with eight kills and 12 digs in the 3-0 win over University of St. Joseph (CT) during this Saturday's tri match.

Moczulski is currently tied for second in the league with 218 kills this season.  She is tenth in the league in digs while ranking in the top five in Aces.

The Trailblazers are having a great season as they are currently 15-8 and more importantly are 3-2 in conference play.  MCLA will travel to Worcester State on Wednesday night in search of climbing up the conference standings.
