Garber and Brown sweep MASCAC Weekly Honors again

North Adams, MA- For the second straight week sophomore Chloie Garber (Eagle River, AK) and first year Elizabeth Brown (Lee, MA) have swept the MASCAC Weekly Honors. It is the third time this season that Garber has been named Player of the Week and the second time Brown has been named Rookie of the Week.
Garber averaged 11.5 kills, 14.5 digs plus four aces, three assists and three block assists in a 2-0 week for the Trailblazers. The right-side hitter had 14 kills, 15 digs, two aces, two block assists and two assists in a five-set win over Sage College and finished with nine kills, 14 digs and two aces in the 3-0 win over Albertus Magnus College.
Brown averaged 14.5 kills and 12.5 digs with a .288 hitting percentage in the two wins for the Trailblazers. The outside-hitter had 19 kills and 16 digs in the win over Sage and added 10 kills, nine digs and a .429 hitting percentage in the win over Albertus Magnus.
Garber, Brown, and the rest of the Trailblazers are back in action tomorrow night at 6pm when they host MASCAC rival Worcester State at the Amsler Campus Center gymnasium.
