Three Volleyball Players earn All MASCAC honors

2022 MASCAC Volleyball All-Conference Release

North Adams, MA- MCLA sophomore Chloie Garber (Eagle River, AK) has been named to the 2022 MASCAC Volleyball All-Conference team while classmate Ellie Walter-Goodspeed (Auburn, WA) and first year Elizabeth Brown (Lee, MA) have been named to the Second Team. Gaber earned Second Team All-Conference last season as well as being named Rookie of the Year.

Framingham State's Anna Szymanski was chosen as the Offensive Player of the Year while Worcester State's Camryn Burgio was selected as Defensive Player of the Year. Fitchburg State's Stephanie Sardella was voted as the Rookie of the Year.

Garber earned three Player of the Week honors this season leading the MASCAC in kills per set (3.32) and finishing second overall in total kills (292) and sixth in digs (294).

Brown was named Rookie of the Week twice this season and finished sixth in the MASCAC in total kills (183) and fourth in both digs per set (3.57) and total digs (314).

Walter-Goodspeed led the MASCAC in digs per set (4.55) and finished second in total digs (400).

Joining Garber, Szymanski and Burgio on the First Team were Westfield State's Ashley Crowley and Shawna Crowley, Framingham State's Hailey Sanders, and Worcester State's Angela Colonis.

In addition to Brown, Walter-Goodspeed and Sardella, Westfield State's Bridgette McAndrews, Worcester State's Maeve Cadogan, Framingham State's Stella Bailey, and Bridgewater State's Victoria Caiano rounded out the Second Team.

Framingham State's Richard Casali was selected as Coach of the Year.
