Garber Named MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.-- The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) announced earlier today that Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) junior right-side hitter Chloie Garber (Eagle River, AK) has been named the Offensive Player of the Week. This is Garber's first Player of the Week honor this season.
Garber averaged 11 kills, ten digs, 5.67 service aces, and seven assists, helping the Trailblazers to a 3-0 week. She had 14 kills, six digs, five aces, and two assists in a 3-1 win over New England College on Tuesday, nine kills, fifteen digs, four aces, two assists, and three blocks in a 3-1 win over SUNY Delhi on Friday, and ten kills, nine digs, eight aces with three assists and a block in a 3-1 win over Sage on Saturday.
Garber and the Trailblazers are back in action on Tuesday when they open MASCAC play with a trip to Westfield State University for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Owls at the Woodward Center.
