Albright Named MASCAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week
NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— MCLA's Ezmeralda Albright (Loves Park, IL) has been named as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. Albright joins Offensive Player of the Week Shayla Narodowg (Wellington, CO) from Mass. Maritime and Rookie of the Week Ava Crane (Dartmouth, MA) from Bridgewater State as this week's conference honorees.
Albright collected 67 digs averaging 5.15 digs per set in three matches last week for MCLA. She finished with 15 digs in a five-set setback at New England College, 32 digs in a five-set win at SUNY Delhi and 20 digs in a three-set loss vs. Paul Smith's College.
Albright and the Trailblazers take the court again on Wednesday when they visit Sage College at 6pm.
