Albright Earns Second MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week Award

NORTH ADAMS, Mass.— For the second time this season MCLA's Ezmeralda Albright (Loves Park, Ill.) has been selected as the MASCAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. She is joined by Framingham State's Natalie Reynolds (Beverly, Mass.) who was named Offensive Player of the Week and Charlotte Sullivan (Hyannis, Mass.) who claimed Rookie of the Week honors.

Albright collected 46 digs in a 2-0 week for the Trailblazers, averaging 5.75 digs per set. The senior libero had 17 digs (5.67 per set) in MCLA's 3-0 sweep of Fitchburg State along with 29 digs (5.80 per set) in a five-set non-conference win over Elms College.

Albright and the Trailblazers will next head to Framingham State for a rematch of last season's epic MASCAC Championship on Tuesday at 7:15pm
