Trailblazer women run at Castleton State

Castleton, VT- The MCLA Women's Cross Country team opened up their fall schedule as they competed in the Castleton State invitational this afternoon. The Trailblazers finished fifth in the event.

MCLA's Claire Simmons was the top Trailblazer across the line completing the course in 21st place. She was followed by Monica Conlin and Martha Pratt.

Sage took home the top spot in the team competition, followed by the host Spartans. Albany College was third and SUNY Canton fourth. Albany's Jessica Monzyk took home top individual honors.

MCLA will compete again next weekend at Southern Vermont.
