Women's Cross Country finishes eighth at MASCAC championships

Williamstown, MA- The 2014 MASCAC Women's Cross Country championships were held this afternoon at Mount Greylock High School in Williamstown, MA.  The MCLA Trailblazers finished in eighth place, while Westfield State took home the top team honors.

Martha Pratt was the top finisher for MCLA ending in 35th place with a time of 23:49.  Paige Herzog was next across the line in 41st place.  Other finishers for MCLA included Annie Gagnon, Kaitlin Wright, and Abby O'Brien.

Westfield's Jess Cardin took home the top runner covering the 5k course in 19:01.

MCLA will compete in the ECAC New England Championships next weekend at Westfield State University.
