Bio
Betsy D’Agostino graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Beginning her collegiate soccer career as a sophomore, Betsy made her presence known right away in the women’s soccer program that was just three years old.
The Pittsfield native finished her first year second on the team
in goals with 12 and tied for most assists with six. Behind her
scoring efforts the women’s soccer team won its first MASCAC
title and advanced to the first round of the ECAC tournament. She
was also named to the first team All-MASCAC. In her final year, the
women’s soccer program was back on top of the MASCAC, winning
its second conference championship in just five years of existence
and moving on to the ECAC tournament. For three years running,
Betsy was named to the first team ALL-MASCAC behind her team
leading 11 goals and 27 points. She was honored as MASCAC Player of
the Week. The National Soccer Coaches’ Association of America
also voted her to the first team All-New England.
After graduation, Betsy returned to the College to serve as an
assistant coach for the 1991 season.
