MCLA Golf Classic raises $20,000, honors Bernie Pinsonnault '73

Pittsfield, MA- The 15th annual MCLA Golf Classic was held yesterday at Berkshire Hills Country Club under sunny skies.  The tournament attracted 128 golfers with a banquet following the event honoring Bernie Pinsonnault '73.

The day began with a barbeque lunch before the golfers headed out for the 18 hole scramble.  Following play, a social gathering took place before the banquet honoring Pinsonnault.  The evening was capped off by MCLA President, Dr. Mary K. Grant presenting Pinsonnault with a plaque honoring his years of service and dedication to the college and support of MCLA Athletics.

The tournament raised over $20,000 for the athletics department.  The large sponsorship contingent was highlighted by the 2011 President's Club Title Sponsor, Conserve Thru Control, Inc (CTC).
